About The Removal Lab

The Removal Lab is an independent benchmark of data-removal services. We help Americans decide which service is actually worth paying for when they want their name, address, phone number and other details pulled off the people-search sites and data brokers that publish them.

We are different from most "best data removal service" lists in one way: we run a controlled test. We submit the same test identity to each service, record where it is exposed, and re-check at 30, 60 and 90 days to measure the real removal rate. We publish what we find, even when it is inconvenient for a service we could earn a commission from.
